Happy #monday everyone!
The past week was insane between all the #mothersday orders, to-dos for socials, organizing upcoming surprises and more.
I think we can all agree on the fact that we can now start focusing more on being #creative and taking time for ourselves.
ENTER SIMPLY MIX BROWNIE TRUFFLES!
I had so much fun making these cuties (and enjoyed eating them after the photoshoot too LOL)!
They're easy and quick to make AND you will only need a pack of @simplymixuk Brownie Cake in a Mug mix to create these stunning little balls of joy and delight!
- 1 box of @simplymixuk brownie Cake in a Mug
- 2 small mixing bowls
- tooth picks or bbq skewers
- baking paper
- microwave or oven to bake
Transfer dry and wet ingredients from your cake in a mug box (equivalent of two mug cakes) to a mixing bowl and whisk the ingredients until batter is smooth.
transfer into a ramekin and bake in the microwave for 1:40 mins or in the oven for 25-30 mins.
Once your cake is ready, set it aside and allow it to cool.
Meanwhile transfer your chocolate chips into a bowl (you can add extra chocolate if you want) and melt away.
Grab your cake and using a spoon scoop some of it and start modeling a ball with your hands. Insert wooden stick and dip it in the chocolate.
Set on a tray with baking paper on it, once you've used all the cake sponge go ahead and place it in the fridge for five mins to allow the chocolate couverture to harden.
OPTIONAL: I like to decorate my truffles with rose or blue corn petals (see picture up), if you prefer you can add more chocolate and a sprinkle of sea salt on top for extra decadence.
Now go and stuff your face, you deserve it!
P.S. I never share my sweet treats but I totally understand if your kids come in and steal them!
